Advanced Training on Pattern Construction and Assembly Technology for Jackets, Blazers, and Trousers
Within the framework of the "Promotion of Trade and Competitiveness in Eastern Partnership Countries (ETaC)" project, implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), a professional training course titled "Advanced Training on Pattern Construction and Assembly Technology for Jackets, Blazers, and Trousers" is being organized in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the "Textile Industry Operator" Foundation (TIOF), and the "ATEX" Fashion Center.
The 8-day training is designed for experienced industry professionals who meet the following criteria:
  • Professional education in garment production, design, or sewing technology.
  • Work experience in clothing design and pattern making.
  • Skills in adapting patterns to various styles, materials, and fitting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Russian (including professional terminology).
Schedule: June 25, 26, 27, 29, 30 and July 1, 2, 3, 2026.
Hours: 10:00 - 17:00.
Location: Yerevan, Armenia.
Instructor:
The course will be led by Irina Yurievna Tannous-Filichkina, a renowned fashion expert. She is the official representative of the "Müller & Sohn" German Fashion and Design Academy, an international expert for WorldSkills Russia, and a pattern constructor at Reiser Manufaktur.
Course Topics:
  1. Jackets and Blazers
  • Design and development of outerwear components, lining, and interlining according to the Müller & Sohn methodology.

  • 2. Trousers
  • Classic trousers, jeans, and "Marlene Dietrich" style wide-leg trousers.
  • Design and development of classic men's trousers.
  • Technical details: processing technologies for waistbands and pockets.

Participation in the course is free of charge. To register, please complete the following application form by June 18.

Places are limited. Priority will be given to applicants who participated in the first phase of the training.
